Where is my nose?

Where is my nose?

We are very glad to invite you to “Where Is My Nose?” Family Lab, an initiative for both kids and adults. This activity aims at exploring the concept of the body in its physical and metaphorical interpretations starting from the contemporary works of art featured in the exhibition “Senseless Body”.

Where? Palazzo della Ragione, Piazza Vecchia 8, Bergamo – Italy
When? Every Sunday afternoon from 24 November to 5 January.
How? Participation in the Family Lab is free; you just need to sign up by writing an email to educational@theblank.it.

WHERE IS MY NOSE?
• Family Lab for kids 3 to 5 years of age
• From 24 November to 15 December
• From 3:00 to 4:15 pm.
• Participation is free for kids. Adults can join by presenting the entry ticket to the exhibition (5 €)

In the art piece “Someone Else with My Nose” by Jonathan Monk an unexpected nose appears on a classical face. Is it actually his own nose or is it someone else’s? How would my face look like with a different nose? And what is the nose for? We will answer to all these questions and many more as we experiment with mysterious jars to give the right nose back to its rightful owner!

CULTURAL MEDIATION
Cultural mediators will provide support during the exhibition on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 7 pm. They will be available free of charge to talk about the exhibition, tell you fun facts about the works on display or entertain a conversation on contemporary art.

The project is presented in cooperation with Liceo Artistico Statale “Giacomo e Pio Manzù” high school, sponsored by QUID – Value to Communication and organized in partnership with Edoomark.
